Who are we?

The AAA Executive Committee (AAA ExCo) is appointed based on demonstrated involvement, support and commitment to the ACO Programs and its development. In accepting an one-year appointment, an individual agrees to fulfill the requirements and meet the responsibilities associated with board membership.

The structure and roles of the ExCo may vary according to the expanding scale of association, yet the traditional structure includes the Chairlady, the Vice-Chairlady, Executive Committee.

Our current ExCo serves the community from 2024 to 2026.

Chairman

Marcus Wan, a student of Radiography at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, is the alumnus of ACO Careers Program 2022. ACO offers tailor-made support to help him gain industry insights and broaden his career path. Leading to his dedication to serving future talents in need is the unity and enthusiasm shown by ACO Alumni Association. As a passionate alumnus, Marcus aspires to organise engaging training workshops in the coming ACO Careers Program, as well as to inspire younger talents on widening their vision.

Vice-Chairlady

Elena Cai studies Insurance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis (IFAA) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is an alumnus of ACO Careers Program 2022. ACO career program allows her to explore various industries and job types firsthand and enables her to gain valuable insights into different career paths. Recognizing the valuable opportunities he had been given, Elena felt a deep sense of gratitude and made a heartfelt commitment to serving the AAA community. Taking on a role within the AAA Executive Committee, Elena aspires to offer support to incoming students and streamline the execution of AAA initiatives.

Vice-Chairman

Henry Ma, who studies Medicine at the University of Hong Kong, has participated in ACO Careers Program 2022 and gained fruitful insight into the diversified fields. The workplace etiquette, networking opportunities, and soft skills that benefited from the program equip Henry in his career path. In light of the valuable experience received, Henry decided to dedicate himself to the alumni community of ACO. As a member of the AAA Executive Committee, Henry is endeavoring to develop more comprehensive workshops and work shadowing opportunities for the upcoming ACO cohorts, while also guiding students in their career goals and workplace insights.

Hamis Chowstudies Nursing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Having joined the ACO Careers Program in 2022, Hamis widened her exposure towards and gained precious insights towards different fields. These valuable opportunities navigated Hamis towards a clear goal on her career paths, leading her out of confusion on her own future and cemented her aspiration to serve younger talents. Being part of the AAA Community , Hamis aspires to get each of the unique talents and alumni bonded while supporting new students in discovering their own potential and career goal.

Executive Committee

SHEETA KOON, who studies Physiotherapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, has participated in ACO Careers Program 2023. Joining various corporate workshops and medical job shadowing, Sheeta gained new perspectives on medical field and acquired communication strategies in workplaces. Receiving valuable insights from ACO, Sheeta decided to dedicate herself to helping students explore different types of industries and find their own career path by joining AAA.

Executive Committee

Eva Qiu is studying Nursing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is an alumnus of the ACO Careers Program 2023, which provided her with the opportunity to explore various industries more deeply and broaden her horizons. Eva is pleased to be a member of AAA and is dedicated to giving back what she has gained from this program and continuing the connection chain of ACO.
