The Bank of East Asia Workshop 2018

The workshop at The Bank of East Asia (BEA) marked a perfect closing of the corporate workshop week. “I've learnt loads of skills in using the high-tech gadgets or apps that BEA has invented to make different banking processes less complicated. I do find their products useful and I'll introduce them to my family and friends.” Daisy, one of the students said.
The tour at BEA innovation center as well as living out “A day of Teller” brought our students eye-opening and memorable experience.
Thank you BEA and the team for your continuous support.

Allen & Overy Workshop 2018

Many thanks to Ms. Yvonne Siew, the partner of Allen & Overy LLP in leading her team members to give students an insight on the legal industry during the panel discussion. They all enjoyed the casual mentoring lunch along with the aspiring sharing by the professional lawyers and the interns after an office tour.

We are particularly thrilled to see one of the ACO Alumni, Thomas Yau (2015 cohort) serving as one of the panelists. Thomas demonstrated the importance of networking and making good use of the experience gained from the Careers Program a few years ago. He is currently a summer student at A&O and is possible to gain a 2 year contract with the firm right after his graduation! His story encourages everyone who works hard in providing students with mentorship and career exposure to bridge the gap between academic and future career success and to always strive for excellence.
